If you’ve been following my Amazon storefront for a while, you know I’m always on the hunt for "luxury for less." We all love the sleek look of high-end smartwatches, but not everyone wants to drop $400+ on a wearable. That’s why I was so excited to get my hands on the HCHLQL Smart Watch. After testing it out for a week with my smartphone, I’m ready to share the tea on whether this 2.01'' powerhouse lives up to the hype.
The first thing you notice—and I mean immediately—is the 2.01’’ touchscreen. Most budget watches feel cramped, but this one feels expansive. Navigating through the menus is a breeze because the icons are clear and the touch response is surprisingly snappy. Whether I was checking a text notification or scrolling through my heart rate data, I didn't feel like I was squinting.
I tested this with both an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy to see if it truly is "universal." I’m happy to report that the sync process via the dedicated app was seamless on both platforms. It pulls in your notifications (calls, texts, WhatsApp, etc.) perfectly, so you can stay connected without having your phone glued to your hand.
As someone who tries to hit 10,000 steps a day, the fitness tracking is where I spent most of my time. Here is what I loved:
The Pros:
The Cons:
Is the HCHLQL Smart Watch a replacement for a professional-grade Garmin or the latest Apple Watch Ultra? Maybe not for a marathon pro. But for the everyday person who wants to track their health, get their notifications, and look stylish without breaking the bank, this is a total win.
It’s functional, the display is gorgeous, and it looks much more expensive than it actually is. If you're looking for a gift or a personal upgrade, I highly recommend adding this to your cart!
